Beatport is sponsoring a remix contest for Underworld’s song ‘Bird 1‘ from Barking.

The public is encouraged to submit their remixes by November 1.  In order to facilitate the remixes, Beatport has posted remix stems for ‘Bird 1’ for USD $3.99.  In order to be eligibile to win the contest, the stems must be legally purchased.  The stems will be available until October 18.

The public will vote for their top 10 favorite remixes, and the Beatport staff will choose another 10 favorites.  From these 20 entries, Underworld will pick the overall winner, plus 2 runners-up.

All 3 winners will receive very generous prize packages, including hardware, software, and Beatport gift cards.
