Re: Scariest film moment?
gotta agree with Holden here. The chest-burst sequence in the first Alien movie must have been one of the scariest things I've seen.

Re: Scariest film moment?
This part of Ju-On.
That whole movie is probably the most scary movie I have seen. But in particular that part of the movie was the worst. It had that sound playing in the backround, and the kid was on the foot of the bed moving his fingers on his knees... This is definately better than the American remake because this scene wasn't even in the American version!!! |

That scene in American Werewolf In London in Tottenham Court Road tube station had my sister refusing to use the tube.
Myself it must of been Ghostbusters....

Re: Scariest film moment?
@Myrrh: Yeah, some of those Japanese (and, more generally, Asian) horrors are really quite disturbing - the Eye, the Ring, Audition, etc.
Separately, can anyone tell me what film had a trail of zombies or vampires (can't quite remember which) just horrifically "floating up" to someone's bedroom window at night and scratching to be let in? I saw it a long time ago on TV. Damn that disturbed me! Put me off ever opening my bedroom curtains at night in case there was a face staring in at me! |
