On NPRs Fresh Air program they had a tribute to Link Wray Wednesday, November 23. At that point I learned he had passed away.
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/s...toryId=5024749 I too was quite disappointed to learn that after buying the Pulp Fiction soundtrack back in 94 that 'that one song that plays in the Jack Rabit Slim scene before Uma goes to do a bunch of coke in the bathroom' wasn't on the soundtrack. It took me a couple years, but then I learned about who Link Wray was and got the best of CD. The Batman theme is quite amusing. |
