There are those of us here with centerist and even conservative leanings who are equally happy about the idea of having a President who aims to represent all Americans, not just those who share his political ideologies. That's the whole driving idea behind Obama's platform. You're looking at a bunch of American and international ass-slapping, not just liberal ass-slapping.

Yeah, they're not necessarily "conservative", but on a practical level, the Libertarian party usually syphons votes away from Republicans, just as the Green party syphons votes away from Democrats.
