Lucky Strike

I just finished my first carton of these things and they were very good but a bit too expensive. I browsed the internet and found that Lucky Strike is a popular brand of cigarette in Europe. So much so, they come in a variety of styles with filters. Here in the USA only the soft pack non-filter is sold. It is also somewhat hard to obtain Lucky Strikes here, only tobacco shops carry them.
I was wondering, if anyone on the boards here from Europe could tell me if it is true that Lucky Strike is a popular brand in Europe. I think it was Spain and Ukraine that favors them the most?

I smoke Lucky Strike as well, it's my favorite brand at the moment. I prefer the Silver (basically "light") edition, although they mostly sell them only at tobacco shops. I think Lucky Strike is popular in Holland as well, at least a lot of people around me are smoking it.
