Holding The Moth
Hi people,
not posted on here for ages (in fact had to re register for some reason).
Anyway, was wondering if anybody has had problems downloading the Holding The Moth digital bundle? I have purchased all the previous downloads and had no problems but cannot get the Jesse Rose mix to play although the other two are fine. I bought the CD quality version and have tried to download the 3 maximum attempts on different computers but there is always an error on track 3. any suggestions or this a general glitch?
Many thanks
LM

Re: Holding The Moth
I also downloaded Holding the Moth bundle CD quality and found that only Jesse Rose Rmx has an aiff extention ( others have an aif not aiff ). That maybe cause glitch on your enviroment.

If you change the filename to *.aif, you can maybe listen it?

Anyway I can listen it as it is with iTunes on Windows OS.

What OS is your PC on?
What music player do you use?

Re: Holding The Moth
Thanks for the swift reply.
Have recently bought a new PC running Vista and Windows Media Player seems to work fine with everything (so far) apart from the Jesse Rose mix-upon attempting to open the track I am notified
" cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

Gotta admit I'm not too clued up about such things! I took your advice and discovered that the first two tracks are aif whilst the other is aiff. why would this be the case and how can I rectify it to change them to be the same file format?
Probably sound a bit dumb but I'm really not sure how to do it!

Re: Holding The Moth
Winamp will play anything if it recognises it whatever the extension I think.

Maybe your Explorer is set to hide file extensions?
