Re: Lost Boys 2
I found out about Lost Boys 2 on the one episode of "The Two Coreys" I saw a year or so ago. The dark-haired Corey told the light-haired Corey that the film was being made, and that only the dark-haired Corey would be in it. Light-haired Corey was very sad.
I don't guess I'll be watching the movie though.

Re: Lost Boys 2
Have you gone back and watched the first movie as an adult? As an adolescent boy, it was one of my favorite movies, and for that it'll always have a certain amount of nostalgic appeal. But I watch it now, and there are definitely parts that make me cringe and think, "I can't believe I used to think this was cool."
Kinda like the Thundercats.

You got into that divot, and you're still super sized, and you can break blocks with your face. Now get out there and step on some fucking turtles!! |

Re: Lost Boys 2
I probably should rewatch the original. I haven't seen it in years.
The issue with this one was that it was very choppy feeling, and it just jumped around too much. It seemed like it skipped storyline content, just to show pointless nudity, partying, and then some vampires getting killed. But the main issue is the whole Sam thing. They could have made this a huge part of the movie, but instead you are left wondering what happened to him. What was the beef between him and Edgar? Did Sam choose to go that route and that's what pissed Edgar off? I don't know. It just seemed like it could have been much cooler, if they would have not tried so hard. One thought is that if the movie would have just focused on Ed and Sam, and shown the whole thing from their point of view, it could have been better. Instead, Ed is a backround character, and Sam is barely even in it. |
