The Dirty League - Fantasy Football/Soccer 08/09 season - Starts 16th Aug 11:30am UK
The football season doesnt start for another month, but the fantasy football website has been reset and so i've reregistered, picked my initial team and created this years Dirty League.
Code to join this league: 271496-62318 Website: http://fantasy.premierleague.com I've taken the liberty of emailing a few of you Technique regulars so I'm hoping for more than the 9 people we got last year. You have 100.0 to spend on a squad of 15 players. Your squad must be made up of 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 forwards with no more than 3 players from any Barclays Premier League club. Printable list of players is here but its easier from the website because you can sort and filter but here it is: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/playerlist.html You can pick your team now, and change it as much as you want without penalty before 16 Aug 11:30 BST which is when Gameweek 1 starts. Good luck, and I wish you all the luck in finishing second behind the mighty Barnstoneworth United! (last year's winners!)

new season, new team. the toonbadgers are no more - i've signed up the mill farm cottagers - not because of a switch of alleigance; just a relocation...

shit. not again.
i've still not recovered from my mid-season top of the table hiatus last year. the slump to lower third was vaguely satisfying. much like my arsenal. hah! will have to have a crack on the weekend.

Re: The Dirty League - Fantasy Football/Soccer 2008/09 season
We can't see players till the season starts - but I'm happy to share/show mine - you know - for jolly japes and so you can all laugh at the rugby fella's attempt to pick poofball players.
My current squad - few changes possibly. Will have to do a bit more reading - and we'll see what happens with transfers. 1: Friedel (C) 149 2: Clichy 146 3: Turner 4: Lescott 196 5: Laursen 163 6: Fabregas 205 7: Barry 178 8: Mascherano 76 9: Butt 110 10: Santa Cruz 182 11: Yakubu 137 12: Van der Sar 126 13: Ferdinand 171 14: Dempsey 115 15: Kitson 114 Have got 6 or so top performers from last season, thought about going big guns on the front line with Torres - but decided to split the deal and hopefully get some good value from Santa Cruz, Yakubu and Kitson. Midfield is decent - hoping Cesc stays fit. Rio, Lescott and Laursen all quality.
