well yeah -its not a vote - its just a chance to play some classics from both Orbital & 808 state

Orbital are technicaly better, but i didnt really want to do a two hour Orbital show, and personally 808 State are pretty close musically to Orbital and they fit into my 1990's period

it was gonna be Orb, Obrit and Orbital, but i did Orb two weeks ago and Orbit doesn't fit as well with Orbital...

and i have a bit of 808 State lying around!

so next Tuesday it will be....

i've always been a fan of 808 state,

and for a while orbital also, but they
were much more hit and miss for me..
with their peak being the 'brown' album..
halcyon etc..

808 has been pretty consistent even
until now...although i haven't heard
their early stuff, i am getting both,
prebuild and newbuild soon..

i'm enjoying their last one, outpost transmission
a lot....but am missing their usual singles..
i need to get the invader cd/12inch also..
