Hi all,
I've been away from Dirty and the online Underworld community for a long time but I always keep an eye on it. Anyway, me and my mate Rob (or Seki) have been making tunes for a while, and decided to get up off our arses and play them live to real people. And it went well. Well, better than expected anyway. And it was my 30th (!) birthday so a lot of fun was had, a few beers were drunk, and promises were made that have yet to be broken. So prior to recording the fruits of our labour properly and sending out demos and doing all that real world work jazz we decided to just play the tracks and record them in glorious stereo. Which we did. I've put them up on my myspace for now. And before anyone jumps down my throat and says "Oi, myspace friend seeker! Be gone!", I genuinely think that some of you might get a kick out of them. And if you don't want to listen to them yet, just remember that I came here to tell you, my virtual brethren, first. One day in 1996 I went to see a band I'd heard a million times on my stereo play a real live gig in a place called the SFX and I came away wearing white skinnny fit tshirt with a 10 on the back that I still have to this day. And somewhere in between coming and going everything stopped and started again, only things looked different on the other side. Beggin for it is right. I remixed King Of Snake, and sent the file somewhere. Its probably still out there somewhere. But it wasn't the good mix. I bottled it and sent in the tame one. Not again. It happens once and you learn. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Listen to them. Hear.
