Open Season website
So the film that's been sucking away the last three years of my life finally has a fully functioning website. There's a teaser from a couple months ago, and a trailer we just finished a couple weeks ago in there. I'd love to know what anybody thinks of it.
http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/openseason/ edit: please forgive the terrible look of the characters on the first page. The marketing department is totally seperate from production, and they insist on using their "versions" of the characters even though they look like they were done by someone who's...well....let's say artistically lacking. Anyway, once you click "enter the site", all is well. Last edited by Sean; 11-17-2005 at 03:10 PM. |

Re: Open Season website
Hi Sean,
I saw the trailer for this movie when I took my 3 year old to see Chicken Little on opening weekend. It was a theater full of kids, and everyone really laughed quite a bit during this trailer. Particularly, the toilet paper scene, which hit a nerve with most of the kids in the audience as they were screaming out loud during that part. My daughter saw me watching the trailer for it at my computer and recognized it as the bear in the house movie. Congrats on all that hard work. It looks like a wonderful film. Now, I just have to explain to my 3 kiddo that it isn't at the theater this weekend!!!

Re: Open Season website
I think it looks great, the trailer has some nice comedy touches that appeal to my sense of humour (even tho they're probably aimed more at kids) and the characters look nicely designed/conceived, esp Reilly who looks excellent, all chops! The animation is of the exact high standard audiences today expect. Also, I think it's nicely differentiated itself from the likes of Madagascar - there's a very unique sense of place/setting to this one that I think make it stand out.
Lookin forward to it. EDIT: just thought, did you want comments on the film/trailer or the website? Last edited by Deckard; 11-19-2005 at 04:14 PM. |
