Radiohead - Harry Patch
Lovely new song from Radiohead. Featuring just Thom Yorke and a string section from Johnny Greenwood. An apparant work in progress that was put out due to the death of the last WW1 fighter. All money goes to charity, a good song for only a £1

Re: Radiohead - Harry Patch
i brought it the day it came out - absolutely worth it, since the download is 320kbps. don't listen to it on PC speakers! it's made for headphones or big speakers.
the layering of the orchestra: SO MUCH LOVE |

Re: Radiohead - Harry Patch
already downloaded it. it's very amnesiac-like, it reminded me of cuttooth for a certain reason.
there's a release date in the NFO file that came with the track, it has a release date: august 17th. probably an EP??? *spazzes* |

Re: Radiohead - Harry Patch
congratulations to thom yorke for not joining the orchestra playing in the abbey, but for electing instead to f-off in a nearby isolation booth to make it sound as jarringly unnatural as possible and completely grating.

the lyrics are... odd. he struggles to get in, but he manages. perhaps it was the nature of the lyrics, which were textual quotes. |
