Re: The Dirty League - Fantasy Football/Soccer 08/09 season - Starts 16th Aug 11:30am
premiership's fucking bonkers this season - if it goes on this way, there'll be a 15-way dogfight to avoid relegation - i've not seen anything like it.

the only thing that consistent, is the inconsistency, brian...

and the Arse pull another one out of somewhere - but nice to do it against Chelski.

have stopped being excited or depressed - too many random results - but some stunning big game wins.

Hadn't spotted that the dirts did this too, If anyone's wondering who this new Andrew Robinson team is, it's me using my real name.

Just had to use my wildcard. got rid of about 6 players and juggled it all about. I hope it will improve my scores. Finally bit the bullet and got Vidic in defence. Bloody expensive for a defender. Still, ive got cash left over.

Got a dilemma now though. Ireland or Ashley Young in midfield? I've already got Arteta and Ronaldo as permanent midfielders. Both Ireland and Young have 112 points and their form is low. City are playing Liverpool this weekend, and Villa have got Chelsea. Tough choice. I could play em both and drop a forward I suppose, but theyre all on top form.

Matt - you finished strong! after i prodded you a few times to get your team in order you rose up the table and were 5th last week. Finished 7th after a push by by Ian and Rog. Me, I was top of the league all season until April then forgot my team for a few weeks and then Sean was too far ahead to catch him up so i relinquish the championship

Blimey - how did I not finish last when I forgot all about this and didn't make 1 single transfer all season and had, iirc, a strike force of Keane & Berbatov?

Or to put it another way, how bad must bss's team have been?
