Re: Live Instruments
i'd really like to see karl make more extensive use of his guitar. the live renditions of "twist" from ahdo tours were inspired... more in this vein!!
on another note, a tribute to underworld in the form of covers by bands of the "rock" genre would be brilliant, i think... how i prayed that "tongue" (unrelated jeff buckley song) was an underworld cover!!! |

Re: Live Instruments
nah i think having karl on guitar, plus someone on keyboards, drums and bass would work really well. leftfield live was much more of a live experience than just triggering synth loops from a sampler...

Both missing the initial concept of the topic entirely. Of course they're a "live band". However, think more "acoustically". |

saying they should play acoustically as though it's a given that it would be "awesome" devalues what they do in their live shows. their shows are great not in spite of the fact that they don't play acoustically, but because they don't play acoustically. i wouldn't pay for an underworld show where they played an acoustic version of boy boy boy. |
