Re: Tiga-SeXXXor
i agree with the guys who "previewed" some of the tracks (i did on itunes). the dancier tracks are good, and meh on the less dancier tracks.

i'm currently enjoying his Depeche Mode remix of Shake the Disease

I think You're gonna want me is one of his best tracks, and after a few spins of the album i quite like the rest of it as well. A few songs are too forgettable, but some of these are great in my opinion!

well - i didn't mean the covering tracks or the cover itself were bad things
I'm just kind of curious

on Tiga's output... he's more 'hit and miss' for me. Like I loved "Hot in Here" but I really didn't like "louder than a bomb"... and so on..

Re: Tiga-SeXXXor
After all the comments I had to go sample it at the iTunes store myself. It's not fantastic but I really like it (the first bit is definitly better then the last).

Everytime you listen to his albums/singles, you're kind of faced with his persona. I was thinking about it while listing to these tracks, and I have to say that I like Tiga's persona. All of his pictures on his albums/mixes are sexed up and plastic sort of in a David LaChappel way. I don't think he's full of himself, but is rather all about "style" and has a sense of humor. Also, his style and persona matches his style of music - 80's-esq, techno-ish.

While his music isn't really mainstream, I get the feeling that he wants to be a mainstream superstar anyway. The fact that he acts like he is one is what I love about him. The Montreal Mix sessions has a picture of himself nearly naked in a tub of pink champagne - c'mon, that's awesome and totally ridiculous. What's not to love?

Afterthought: The name "Sexor" for the album is completely retarded however. Roxxors OMG lollerskates! Although it might think it's genius later.

Re: Tiga-SeXXXor
Plasticity at it BEST.

When one's in the mood for cold, emotionless, zombie fumbling towards the next high sound - Tiga always delivers. In a good way kinda thing.

For one of those moments when you just want to disconnect from the rest of the world. Rather constant for me!
