f-ing ditto man... I mean, come on! But i'll just buy it for the dvd - just hoping that it'll be region-less, or else I'm screwed!

And it's funny how NOW they're releasing a best of... seeing as they broke up like four years ago. I bet that the upcoming Prodigy best of is a factor w/ this release. And the fact that they're the last of the big electronic bands to release a best of (the Orb -> Orbital -> Chemical Brothers -> Underworld -> Prodigy -> Leftfield ...you could also throw in Primal Scream's one in there too, and MA's dvd)

it's just too bad the release isn't going to have any live stuff

And don't forget Fluke: "Progressive History x"

It's not just electronic music...seems like every band that survives ten years and was reasonably popular gets to put out a "greatest hits" package. Some that come to mind: Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots. Of course, all these bands were/are influential in their own way, but somehow 10 years seems a lil on the short side for hits packages. Just my opinion...

Re: Leftfield : A Final Hit
not forgotten isn't hard to find on 12"! it got repressed by simplyvinyl!

i generally dislike best of compilations, especially being a jethro tull fan, and having to sift through around FOUR "greatest hits", "very best of", blah blah before finding an actual album.

i still can't believe that silverchair has a greatest hits compilation. (maybe it fit on a CD3", hardy har har)

Stranger ones include Blur, Supergrass and The Lightning Seeds, Travis and The Bluetones.

I didn't buy any of their albums, because I heard it dubbed, "Uninspirederworld".

Re: Leftfield : A Final Hit
i think people will buy this for

‘Not Forgotten’
‘A Final Hit’
‘Shallow Grave’
‘Snakeblood’
‘More Than I Know’

which are all non-album and all great tracks. me? ive got all the tracks already on cd so i wont bother but lets hope they decide to do a 2cd limited thing with something juicy...

Someone said that about Leftfield? Did they get the wrong band?
