I'm happy for you cacophony I almost cried when I heard the first few tones of Rowla come out in NYC!

BTW, does anybody know why the ticket price is still the same, even after the Liquified presale is over? I thought I was getting a discount?

you were probably only guaranteed tickets, as it could have sold out once the general public was allowed to purchase tickets.

Re: Underworld visits ATL
Well, not that I even care, i'm just curious. The flyer posted by dirtyatl said "special advance discount presales".

Whatever, it doesn't matter, because i get to see UNDERWORLD AGAIN!! Couldn't be happier

Re: Underworld visits ATL
for anyone flying in, it looks like the venue is within reasonable walking distance of the MARTA train station at Arts Center. That's sandwiched between peachtree and w. peachtree, and between 15th and 16th street. so a block and a half over, a block down.

i've lived here for 8 years but i've never been to this venue. i work right by the arts center station so i take the train in every day. i think i'll check out the walk to center stage on monday just to see how doable it is.

figured folks might want to know, if they're coming in from out of town and thinking about where to book a hotel. you might be able to save $$ and forego the car rental if you get a room near a MARTA station. and in case you've never been here, the southern most stop on the Marta north/south line is in the airport terminal. you could get off your plane and go straight to the arts center station in just about 30 minutes.

this may not be helpful to anyone, but i figured i'd throw that out there.

Re: Underworld visits ATL
i was speaking to a friend yesterday who said that this is a great venue to see UW in atlanta: not too large, good sound.

i am stoked about the gig (and glad you got yer tickets cacophony!), it's been too long since i've seen rick and karl (gawd, i even had a dream about it this morning!)

*general all round*

Hell, I am sure I must cry at least once during every UW gig I go to.

I am so lucky I live in the UK and can access the European gigs. I know how much it means to my Stateside UW friends to have the guys play within 500 miles of them, much less their own city.

Crying is just fine, Cacophony.
