Next to the 4 tracks that are within the UK release there is the R59 Live Mix Version (9:13).
Just downloaded it and it appears to be the What Dog Mix.

Pretty cool to have a proper version of it. But a bit weird that it isn't available for the UK...
hmm....the full what dog mix was 10:19, so this is editted
somehow...and the other video version was 7:56 so that
can't be it either....

Turned out to be a real promo. They're the same MP3's on the CD though as the ones that we purchased for download. The whole series is too long to fit on a CDDA.
which is probably why it went for a dirt cheap price...

Yes. The web version was 32 KHz AAC streamed at approx. 96-128 Kbps. The iTunes downloads are 44.1 KHz AAC at 256 Kbps.

I haven't heard the download track myself, but if you fade out the What Dog video at 9:13, that would just about be right.

I tried to compare it, but the original webpost doesn't seem to load anymore at my pc.
But if you wanna compare it, the vocals kick in at exactly 1:00.
The file I've downloaded through iTunes is a 256 kbps AAC-file, so pretty good quality IMO

Re: Beautiful Burnout release date
Now that the hot subject and talk talk talk has fallen on extra/exclusive tracks, b-sides, cute remixes and other random stuff, has anyone else noticed that JAL To Tokyo LIVE is on the iTunes-version of Oblivion With Bells...? I noticed it because I was just browsing around (I live in Denmark by the way), I had originally just imported the OWB-cd into my iTunes library, and then I downloaded JAL To Tokyo Live and I'm pretty sure it really is the Live version of it from the JAL EP... Like, sort of a bonus track kinda thing... But wasn't that Japan-exclusive? If it is, then why the hell is it available on Danish iTunes...?
Sorry if I misled this topic into some dark and gloomy area that isn't to be discussed... Just ignore it, if that is the case....

Re: Beautiful Burnout release date
JAL to Tokyo live, the first track on the 3-disc Live in Tokyo 2005 set, was included as a bonus track on OwB on iTunes in the U.S. and EU (including UK) stores, but not the JP store, which has Loads of Birds instead.

I got a listen to the download now. It is the What Dog Mix. There's a minor 15 second trim somewhere between 6:00 and 7:00, and then it fades out about 40 seconds earlier than the video.

Re: Beautiful Burnout release date
weird update...

so - now ALL mixes are "territory restricted" on beatport... so if you're like me, and didn't buy the .wav files when it first came out - you're SOL

but... now - the single's available as 320kbps mp3 (and cheaper) over on bleep.com and the release is not territory restricted....

weird

they wont even put their own remixes on the disc
Man am I glad to see other people saying this too. I literally just put the digital download of the single in my shoppig cart, then decided to listen to the clips before buying (I usually don't with Underworld releases). After a quick listen, I didn't buy it. I'm all for remixes, but these are just boring to me. When I buy Underworld releases, I want some freakin' Underworld, dammit!
