But yes, if UW are playing the songs live, the material must exist as "studio" versions. To hear "You Do Scribble" or "Darc" as it originally existed, unmixed, unimprovised, without crowd noise, is where it's at!

We know Lenny Penne was in finished form with lyrics and everything no later than summer 2005 (it was performed on the tour), and most likely it was finished sometime in 2004. Play Pig was also in finished form with lyrics by early 2005 at the latest, because they gave the tracks to the remixers (Pig & Dan, Buick Project, etc.) sometime around then. However, as of late 2004, Bamboo had no lyrics (and no synth beat and synth strings), as heard on the Music Bank Jam. So, I think as Bamboo evolved, that's when the lyrics were borrowed from Lenny Penne and Play Pig. |

Thanks to those who have kindly transferred the streams to mp3!
I'm a dork for having tangible discs of mp3 files, and UW is no exception. Latest compilation (with some OWB-esque art i threw together last night): http://brian.g.ruskin.googlepages.co..._1107-full.jpg Did something similar with Phonestraps 1 - 5 and the Crocodile remixes.
