I've listened to this album a total number of... 2 times now. I won't say much about it, except that I love it! Though the beginning of "Moth" and the formulaic and boring "Boy..." seem a little out of place. I certainly don't mind tracks like "To Heal" and "Cuddle Bunny" since any album should find time for something simple and light, but they don't add much.
My favourite is definitely "Ring Road", which is fantastic. My opinion might change once I focus on the lyrics, but so far I've avoided the temptation. I was initially put off by the "Bruce Lee"-beats, but combined with the amazing chorus ("People squinting..."), they give the song a really majestic quality that makes it stand out to me. Overall, it reminds of me of "8 Ball", and that's certainly a compliment as it's one of my all-time favourites. A celebration of life, perhaps?
Oh, and every unmentioned track from this album is excellent
Now, bring on the actual release so I can buy it!
