why do you think it's number one? i listened to it for a straight hour last night. you either take pop seriously (i.e. like any other music) or you don't.

i like that you actually believe the words that are coming out of her mouth. it was originally supposed to be Beyonce or Mary J. Blige on this song, thank god Rihanna got it. i also like how stripped-down it is, and that it's basically a mid-90s alternative song for urban radio. and i hated the Cranberries. it's just one of those pop songs where everything is absolutely right.

Pon De Replay is also awesome.
