With the employee discount it breaks down like this: 30% off new books, 50% off used.
So my friend is grabbing me a copy of
Difficult Loves by Italo Calvino,
Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugendies, and another copy of
If on a winter's night a traveler by Calvino for about $13-15 for all three. All are used so it makes it very cheap.
I still will buy new books though as new releases like the new books by Michael Chabon, Don Delillo, and Haruki Murakami are immediately marked 30% off.
