this year its finally happened, life has caught up with the frankly excessive amounts of cash i used to spend on new releases and family responibilities have taken over so i've hardly bought anything. only really heard what friends have hooked me up with........anyway this year i've loved
Bloc Party - a weekend in the city. quality lyrics, and although some of the production does my head in and affects the songs i really identify with a lot of the themes in this record. Black rebel motorcycle club - Baby 81. Combines the songwriting skills they showed on thier last stripped down effort Howl, with the noisy guitar sound that they come out with. couple of these tracks and real anthems and i'm surprised its not blown up
