yeah... but if i reember correctly there were some massive time jumps in the first season as well... like years. although there did seem to be more this season... I really would've liked to have seen the show end with the downfall of the roman empire (not really knowing any of the history i have no idea how much further down the road that is)

Watched it last night. The time jumps weren't confusing to me, but they were a bit jarring. It felt too rushed. Too bad they didn't have the budget to take their time through a few more episodes. Overall though, Rome had to have been one of my top two or three HBO series favorites.
