Re: Any Orb fans?
man...
if only like - that show would get posted somewhere in Flac format, like dimeadozen or something (hint hint) but I was also wondering about a track in the second half of the live set (so that'd be the "music_for_listeners_2006_07_15_part_05.mp3" file). at 9:24 into the file (right after "little fluffy clouds") in comes a sample of the David Bowie & Pat Metheny song "This is Not America" so what I was wondering - is that like a proper Orb song using the Bowie track? or - at least a proper song of someone else's? or was it just something they threw into the mix for when they played live? (they also played it when I saw them in DC) ...too bad that this recording doesn't have that cool version of the muppet theme w/ "gay bar" [or have I somehow missed it?] |

Re: Any Orb fans?
sounds like the song on the Transit Kings EP about America...got it here but can't be bothered to look for it...something about America and it's quite good too...my money's on that being the song you're refering to.
