i might re-record the lyrics.

it's a cover of a quite well known dub reggae monster, which i'm not going to tell you at the moment.
are cover versions ok? i don't use any samples from the track or anything...

Re: Heads up on the Dirty Compilation
I'll hop in if I still can? I've recently finished up some new tracks and it'll be cool to put a track out there for others to hear. Plus I'll get to hear what everyone else is making. So, if it's cool, I'll get some info together about myself, song etc... And I'll send it to the appropriate people. Not sure the few tracks I'm thinking of are "summertime" tracks, but they're done, so. Thanks.

Sure, hop in, it's appreciated.

And it's ok the track not being summertime. It would've been nice, but no worries here

1st of June people, remember that

AND most important, I'm still looking for someone who has space to host the tracks on. Much appreciated.

Later.
may i contribute?

Re: Heads up on the Dirty Compilation
Thanks for the reminder, Leon...i'm itching to make a summery tune. Got some ideas.

What i like best about these sorts of compilations is how varied the styles will likely be, even though we all presumably are inspired by Underworld to a certain extent in our production. It'll be a fun listen, i'm sure!

Oh, one more thing...so i don't over or under-do it, what sort of length bio clip is appropriate? Not a life story, of course, but in the paragraph range?

Cheers,
Holden

I think, if all agree, and I think they will, we can move the deadline further up if we have to. The fact that more artists have entered this comp is more important than a deadline I think. Hmmm.

Ermmm... yeah, I think a paragraph is good. Just introducing yourself, a little bit of a background on your music making, what your inspirations are, what gear you use, and maybe a little explanation on your track. Not too long, but you are allowed to write a nice little story yeah
