Re: Omega - UW inspired
GRAW!! OK They are all fixed now *sigh*

I did check out some of those other hosting links, but I found that they had some restrictions on the but rates and amounts of files... I may try one of them just for promotional purposes though...

Re: Omega - UW inspired
thanks for fixing 'em! i was anxious to take a listen.

Well, "I'm Not Dead/ 1.267..." is a classy track! There's a beat in there with a progression of tones that sounds like "Deep Arch" from UW
i do agree with King of Snake, however, that it sounds distant or muddled a bit, which is fine for the atmospheric pads-n-piano intro, but once the bass drum drops post 2:30 or so, all the beats sound thuddy and indescript. That is...until 4:30 or so when the track really picks up! Nice squelchy bassline, effects and build of drumloops. Only complaint is the treatment of your crash cymbals makes them sound staticky.
Is the break at 6:30 or so the start of a separate track? I dig the woodblock hits, too! Kinda abrupt ending, but i'm sure it's intentional and therefore, no worries.

So, "punch this up" a bit with post-production and it'll benefit a lot. It's really close to a keeper now. Thanks for sharing!

Cool! thanks for the review... I know what you mean about the cymbals... you kinda have to have them in music of this genre, but I am always a little wary about how to affect (if at all) and have them so they are not taking over the arrangement.

post production will begin this weekend.
