Seriously, this is a fantastic spoof of a spoof. I never bought into MacLaren and his "Great Rock and Roll Swindle" lark, to be honest. I just thought it was a snappy marketing idea to deal with a flagging industry. Do something amazing, change the face of music for ever, then say "well, actually, it was all a joke?" Beautiful.

KLF pulled it off better, imo.
