Let's hope the output of Lasseter's bunch doesn't now take a downward tumble! (not that this deal should effect it, but look at the extraordinary uninterrupted success rate they've enjoyed so far)

After seeing that preview for the next film coming this summer, Cars, I'm a bit skeptical, but I had the same thought regarding A Bugs Life, and while not great, it was quite amusing.

Pixar chief asserts his authority over Disney by axing Toy Story 3

John Lasseter, the creative chief of Pixar Animation Studios, has wasted no time asserting who is boss after Pixar's takeover by Walt Disney - by stopping production of Toy Story 3, the controversial sequel to the two wildly successful animated films.

Bug's Life kicked ass, fool.

No songs.

Kevin Spacey.

Rest my case.

I really liked the 'outtakes' at the end of Bug's Life. Of course I only saw it once in the cinema and wasn't terribly psyched about seeing it again. Perhaps I should watch it again here in a couple days.

Re: Pixney!
Looks like Toy Story 3 may be back on.

Also they're now talking about releasing two films per year rather than one.
