NEW DJ Shadow album and NOFX EP
Dj Shadow is working on a new album that is going to be released in May.
It is said that there will be songs on the album without any known samples.

Also punk rockers NOFX are going to release some new shit.
“Never trust a hippy EP” will be in stores March 14th (europe i quess).

wow...

I'd expect to see either of those two 'bands' in the same thread

but yea Dj Shadow's new album is gonna definitely be 'different'
esp if it follows what he's been doing recently like:
the Cage track "Grand 'ol Party Crash"
Keak the Sneak "Freaks"
then there's that "Funky Skunk" mix cd


...and apparently he's been recording with David Banner too

so yea - it's kinda shocking in one sense, but with 20/20 hindsight, you can see clues to this move since the early-ish days

how was this cd? heard it's supposed to be something different to what people expected from dj shadow? is it any good?
