Re: back to life, back to underworld
well the RiverRun Project seems to be hit or miss with people on here. but there are definitely a few gems in there.
ive really grown to love JAL to Tokyo, and Back in the Fears (live) and have always had a soft spot for Luetin, Two Months Off and Twist (live especially) |

Re: back to life, back to underworld
I think Dace Doughnut sounds better than Dave!
![]() As regards the new stuff, I think it is important to hear it how the band have chosen to present it by listening to (and, dare I say it, buying ) the EPs rather than just going by the snippets in the live gigs. This would give you a better sense of what they are doing now.Do bear in mind also that they have something like 180 new pieces of music, the sum total of which I sincerely hope we get to hear. BTW - it's Wherever I Lay My Hat.

Re: back to life, back to underworld
well there have been quite a few new tracks in the liveshow and i don't really know all the names. Back in the Fears is just wonderful, and there are a few cool techno-ish "tracks" that seem to be popping up, like Morococcan Meatballs (worst title ever?
), Aqua Funk...Yard Beat is cool because it just has this wicked breakbeat and probably the deepest sub-bassline ever. Then there's that breakbeat track that they've played a few times mixing into Jumbo that sounds very cool, and of course You Do Sribble is pretty big. As for the Riverrrun project, i don't really care much for Lovely Broken Thing but Pizza for Eggs has some really cool stuff on it. Definitely looking forward to the new one.
