of course that devalues my gloat considerably.

Everyone around me really loved it though.

Natalie Portman is still hot even when bald. Her English accent in this helps (for me at least)

I'd say that devalues the gloat, yeah. Just was wondering if we finally had an Alan Moore movie winner, in a long line of Alan Moore movie losers. ;(

Then again, Alan demanded they take his name off of every aspect of the movie.. never a good sign.

Re: I saw V for Vendetta
It really is time for an Alan Moore winner. Be it cinematographic or whatever.

Re: I saw V for Vendetta
hey it was the 12th movie in a row and i'd been up 26 hours by that point. The dozing wasn't exactly a choice

the general consensus is that Vendetta is really really awesome and very close to the books. I never read them personally but I can say that the movie is very uncompromising and pretty adamant with its message and all the Moore fans in the seats around me were cheering and whatnot. I really don't know why Moore would complain about this but keep mum about LXG but oh well... he's a writer so I guess he has to be crotchety.

I would say to look forward to this movie if you're a Moore fan.
