Re: Aussie DIRTS - BDO 06
IS that list from the major headliners down to the rest? Coz I can definitely say after seeing Kings of Leon earlier this year that they should be at the bottom. Otherwise looks like a great lineup, much varied and plenty of options.

James Murphy is good - saw him at Leeds closing the dance tent after Mylo, managed to get a thumbs up off him for my Subber t-shirt (because LCD Soundsystem <3 Optimo)

Re: Aussie DIRTS - BDO 06
Whites Stripes to 2MANYDJS was first lot of acts then Mylo down was released yesterday.

It's a bit of a mixed bunch I think but should still be a fun day. Really needs the timetables tyo be released to define the vibe a bit better. I'm hoping for a little more of a pumping boiler room , really didnt get into the whole chems out on the main stage would have preferred them doing the the boiler room thing. UW spoiled the boiler room for me, just want the big buildup and a great finishing act again.

So for me I'm hoping for Mylo then James Murphy to finish off . Also think COG are another must see if you like a toolish kind of sound. Mars volta put on a good show and kings of leon I want to check out. Maybe I'll check out wolfmother , seems the whole US production/recreation has defined/recreated their sound.

I'll be driving down from Newy to sydney... No train rides no more with the over zealous publicity hounds that now overrun the trains looking for peeps after good times. F#$KERS .
