According to the ticketing site, the postponement is "due to poor physical condition of Sakanaction Ichiro Yamaguchi [. . .] We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to customers who are looking forward to the performance. We also pray for Mr. Yamaguchi's recovery as soon as possible."

The Osaka date was postponed in the wake of that also.

The Rona is getting stronger again in Tokyo.
That I was not able to determine. Had considered to spontaneously drive down to Osaka? I hope and pray I can catch the replacement date and not be out of the country (last two weeks of July)
This will be my first real chance to see them in 20 years?

Hey Dirtys,

Does anyone have any idea why there are so few dates so far in 2022? For guys who obviously make a lot of their bread and butter from touring, and having to put 2 years aside in that regard, I was really thinking they would be like most artists this year, and get-a-tourin. I mean, I know they are playing a few festivals, but this is nothing like previous summers pre-covid.

Theyre not the youngest gents anymore, but seein a few vids on youtube, they look so happy and youthful and energetic. Just wondering if something else is maybe 'up'.

They are playing Pukkelpop in 2 days however......which is right around the corner from downtown germany.....so I am very very tempted to try and make it happen (even if theyre only scheduled to play for an hour).

Anyone else going? Havent noticed it on the 'Moments' section yet.

Regardless, here's to some positive thinking and wishing for some more dates and Drift 2 (and another Riverrum and some Lemonworld just for funn too

So at least of the Tokyo dates we now have replacement dates:
07/06 -> 10/04 (Wednesday) from 17:00
07/07 -> 10/05 (Thursday) from 17;00

Hope they can really happen! I guess the same lineup, but the email I just got was not clear about that.
Anyway, YAYAYAY!!
