Arrested Development is excellent. The interconnected storylines are fantastic and keep coming back to bite you in the ass.

I think the BBC will get Family Guy from the first series (cos it will be cheaper ). Cant wait to see it...

It seems to me that 75% of Family Guy's humor comes from mocking TV shows and TV ads. As I am a weirdo that mostly do not watch TV it is all lost on me. I find American Dad, Furturama, The Simpsons and South Park all more funny than family guy.

*I did find the show in which the dog gets addicted to coke to be pretty funny though.

Hmm... but we won't get most of those shows or ads here in Britain, and I still pick up on the jokes. I do miss out on some of the references though.
