btw it's worth noticing that the desk setup for this show looked a bit different again from recent shows. Karl now had a bigger desk for himself facing the crowd, and he was firing off some samples from a CDJ again, something that was missing in the past few years (and added a nice extra bit of live element). He also actually brought and played his guitar which is also something I think we haven't seen him do much at all lately (except for bass guitar on the Dubnobass tour).

Looks like ricks setup changed again from the last pre-show gear post on Instagram. He had both the Maschine controllers to his right and nothing separating him and Karl then.
I hope Darren comes back on stage if for no other reason than more free hands to do live bits. Allow rick to turn away from the desk and pound on the controllers and such. |
