The Union Hall gig from Karl Hyde was the best version of 8 Ball I've ever seen. It seems like he's more personally invested in the track there, and everything about the setup and lighting just seems more apt.
8 Ball always seemed more like a Karl track to me. Great as it is to see it getting an airing during the UW shows, I fear it may not be the best place for it. |
