Sorry, I just caught up with the thread and read your post. I've made a tentative reservation at the Hollywood Orchid Suites because of a recommendation on one of the Radiohead forums, so I'm glad to hear it seconded! I might be waking up at 6am to catch a return flight anyway, so no worries about the tourists. Thank you for the tips!
