Improv Lyrics
Hello, I'm new to this forum. I'm relatively young and I have only been listening to Underworld for about 3 years now.
I love listening to Underworld's live recordings, particularly those that have improv moments. However, I've always been curious as to what Karl is saying in some of the live tracks, especially these two... YOU DO SCRIBBLE, TOKYO 2005 Skip to 6:48 I hear: "Flow, Come back slow. Full association. (?) (?) (?) You drop one (?) (?)" PEARLS GIRL, LOWLANDS 2008 Skip to 5:27 I hear: "In demand... below (?) (?) Human (Or "You may") I would love to know what Karl is saying during these bits, I can only interpret parts of them. How about you guys? |

Re: Improv Lyrics
Welcome to the forum, Man!
"And in the end The love you take Is equal to the love you make." It's from the The Beatles' song "The End". That's something he'll do quite often. He'll throw in lyrics from other bands, particularly The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Monkees. He'll also appropriate lyrics from other Underworld songs too, often Spoonman, River of Bass, DIrty Epic, Skyscraper, etc. In fact, the lyrics in You Do Scribble live are actually taken from Best Mamgu Ever. |
