Underworld, the veteran electronic music duo who soundtracked Danny Boyle’s ‘Isle of Wonder’ spectacular, took an award for ‘Innovation in Sound’.

Boyle, who picked them personally for the opening-ceremony job, introduced them on stage, saying: “The guiding principle behind the opening ceremony wasn’t philosophical or political... it was if we get enough people involved, it won’t be shite. And top of the list of people I wanted involved were these guys.”
