Re: "so it was surprising to read that New Zealand was the best.."
Right - end of year tour time - otherwise known as the autumn internationals in the North. When the filthy convict and colonial and boer riff-raff come traipsing north to cross swords and scrums with the locals.
All Blacks did the English over with a stop-start display that was at the very least better than the dross they served up in Hong Kong the weekend before. - Kev Mealamu cited for a head butt to Mongrel Moody's head. Fair enough - but NZ wants to know why the ex-Kiwi Dylan Hartley wasn't cited for an elbow the head of Captain McAwe?
Wallabras topped the Welsh - Boks beat the Irish.
This weekend's game see's the Scots take on the All Blacks in Edinburgh. The kilted ones still searching for their first win against the ABs. Yes - that's right - the Scots have never beaten the team wearing black or grey or white - in 27 meetings - since 1905. Two draws in there, but everything else a loss.
The Scots on the up though - beating Argie in Argentina never easy - and they were close to the Triple Crown - so it should be a cracking game. ABs have named a strong side - with Sonny Bill Williams (2010's wunderkid at 2nd-five) and McAwe, Carter and all the established players in there.
Aussie convicts take on the English - Boks to rumble the Welsh I think, whilst Ireland play Samoa - and France take on Fiji.
And because it's always better just to watch a highlight reel:
