Finally just now got around to seeing this thanks to Warner Bros' 3 week wait for Netflix and Redbox Blu-ray rentals (fuckers)......but this was a great remake!
 Not going to win any academy awards or anything, but there was some damn fine performances in this film. Great special FX and set design. Not going to replace the original of course, but its a shiny new update of an old tale, and certainly worth a watch. Heard they've got an original sequel brewing now too.
