i got the gig...now i need advice...HELP
http://toronto.craigslist.org/evg/99086122.html

SO...i have 22 hours.
i know its not a club gig per say, but im looking for some advice on the ' ambient electronica ' part.
ive got the ' house ' part completely covered.

and, i get to use my computer...yay.
traktor and pcdj red will be my friends for the day.

im looking for a couple of ' choice ' ambient ish albums i can pick thru for the morning set...or, just an hour and half of singles.
any recommendations ?

and...seeing how this is a race involved event..any ' race themed music ' would also be of great help.

bring it on.

I don't know how fluffy you want your ambient to be, but you might want to check this mix:

DJ Viddy - Music For A Sore Conscious

01 - Gary Joules - Mad World
02 - Brian Eno - First Light
03 - Underworld - Most 'Ospitable
04 - Yanni - Whispers In The Dark
05 - Aphex Twin - SAW Vol. 2 CD 2 TRK 8
06 - Sigur Ros - Svefn G Englar
07 - Brian Eno - The Plateaux Of Mirror
08 - Alan Silvestri - Small Moves
09 - Thomas Newman - American Beauty
10 - Akira Yamaoka - Forest
11 - Boards Of Canada - 5-9-78
12 - Sleepy Town Manufacture - Kabyn
13 - Roger Waters -
14 - Autechre - Kalpol Intro
15 - Spooky - Belong [Bassless Ambient Mix]
16 - Underworld - File #11-05-01
17 - Boards Of Canada - Everything You Do Is A Balloon

Have a listen to Artificial Intelligence II if you can; sweet, sultry electronics. I should be on in about 16 hours and can hook you up if you want to.

edit: - it's on Warp Records.
