Re: Underworld mkIII?
Right, so
uw mki: Underneath the Radar, Change the Weather uw mkii: Dubno, STITI, BF, EE uw mkiii: AHDO, the RiverRuns, OWB uw mk iV: seeing as there are collaborations now, shall we call Barking the beginning of mk iv?? Or is it mk ib? Or did mk iv begin when Darren Price started playing/producing with them? I feel like AHDO is a bit of a retread of BF, minus Darren Emerson, so is it really mk iii? The RiverRuns and OWB were much more in the spirit of Rick and Karl. So maybe that's where mkiii begins. Ah. heck. Who cares? Its all Underworld and we love them. Yes, i hope Barking wins them all sorts of new fans. But their creative essence persists and though it's with new people, it's no less UW.

Re: Underworld mkIII?
Quote:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underwo...and%29#History apparently to this, MKI was '87 - '90 Then MKII ended with the release of Anthology covering '92 - '02 So one could argue AHDO, Riverrun projects, and OblivionWB was its own generation because of the similarity in sound these 3 projects contain. AHDO is one I listen to personally the most, even though I've worn out their Everything, Everything DVD I'm also not one to assume I know what kind of music a band is going to release. So if the music really does reflect the new artwork then maybe a new generation is in order? (MKIV) [and i dont know if the subject of the thread was for Underworld to officially announce a new generation or change the color scheme of the forums to welcome the new fans, if the latter, i suggest a new thread, just sayin'] Last edited by Caprice; 07-22-2010 at 07:31 AM. |
