Robben has his reputation of falling over in a strong wind but the rest of the team a solid players. Germany deserved to win this world cup, and that takes a lot for me to say as an Englishman.

Greece 2004:
Matches, 2-1, 1-1, 1-2, 1-0, 1-0, 1-0. Scored 7 in 6 matches.

Spain 2010:
Matches: 0-1, 2-0, 2-1, 1-0, 1-0, 1-0, 1-0. Scored 8 in 7 matches.

Look familiar?

There's obviously a point where stats have to be backed up by the intangible events in the playing field - I'm sure we can find dozens of spectacular 0-0 games every season. I couldn't agree less with the comparison between Greece '04 and Spain'10 styles' and I can't honestly see another reason in you doing so other than try to wind me up. :P. Is by this standard The Netherlands as good/bad historically as, say, Canada? They both have zero World Cups.
