Finally just caught up on this whole controversy/correction now. What fun! The song's okay, but I think it could really stand to go somewhere. It acts like it's going to when the synths pick up just shy of a minute in, but then it just returns to the same loops. And adds the gunshots. I'm guessing that those gunshots sit more cleanly in the mix if we were to hear an un-compressed version of the song.
