Re: Arse v Barca
Really? I can see Arse winning this. All depends on which Arse team shows up though. No doubt Barca are the favorites here, but I have a suspicion that Arse takes this at home.

Well well. Eikman not eating his words. Though it was definitely a penalty. To say Puyol wasnt denying a goal scoring opportunity you need a white stick and a guide dog. Undeserved draw for Arsenal. No fabregas in the 2nd leg, and Barca will have 2 players out too. Still gotta be Barca to go thru.

Re: Arse v Barca
Barca, already weak in the back, will be without their 2 best defenders next week. This is far from over.

are they? before the arsenal match, they conceded only 4 goals in this entire CL round and only 18 (in 29 games, that's eight less than Real Madrid!) in the spanish league. no other european top team has conceded less goals in their respective home league (i.e. not in england, germany, netherlands, france and italy)

that's not what i would call "weak in the back", but rather one of the best defensive lines there is.

nevertheless, puyol and pique will be missed for sure, but i think with marquez they have another excellent defender along their lines. and if messi shows a better effort and iniesta returns to the squad, the offense should put it straight
