TFHats in the mix
I've made a megamix of some of my tracks (two of them are contributions to the 2008 and 2009 compilation). Maybe these tracks will inspire you for the 2009 compilation? You can download it here:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AF9HM1FL

tracks:
01 The sun to my moon
02 Reality check
03 Cliques
04 Detail
05 Portobello
06 Queen's beginning
07 May I see it?
08 Ethernal
09 But tonight
10 Breeze
11 Indecent

Enjoy!

You can also check out my soundcloud to listen to it. The markers mark the start of a new track:

(meanwhile you can also listen there to my remix of Röyksopp's Tricky Tricky).

Hey CT/TFTs...

Just had a chance to listen to this mix - very enjoyable! A few comments:

first off, i think it's very cool that you have such a variety and selection of original tracks to create a continuous mix. The pacing is for the most part really smooth and there are some great transitions from very tech/old school tracks to ones that are a bit more lush/organic.

i'm a big fan of a lot of the basslines and it's clear that you work hard on the drum patterns, too! Very groovy.

your calling card seems to be the vocoded vocals with a very robotic quality. in some cases, they're so robotic/treated that i can't tell what the words are. But as an instrument or sound in the mix, it definitely contributes to a vintage atmosphere to the tracks.

Very cool stuff! I particularly like a certain build-up around 19 minutes

Re: TFHats in the mix
Thanks a lot Holden! Really appreciate it that you took the time to listen to it. I was really just twiddling around with some tracks and snippets in Ableton with this mix as a result.

It's very hard to mix in the pronounciation of a vocoded voice.
