Re: the orb - live recordings
I went to a show of the Orb 2 days ago. I enjoyed it and they played a lot of their good stuff, but I wasn't much into the drummer. Electronic beats fit much better with the music. Also they finished with this really fast acid-ish techno which in my opinion was not very impressive. Not only did it not fit into the rest of the set, they weren't really cool tunes either. Still, I thought it was a good show though.

Wow thanks a ton for these!! Do the sets vary enough that I should get, say, all the '92 boots even though the tracklistings are basically the same? Anyways, I can't wait for the '95-'98 era recordings if you have them...Orbus Terrarum was always my favorite

erm, the 1991/1992 shows don't vary too much, i'm afraid. download the leeds uni 1992 show for the best one.
yeah, got lots of 1995-1998 recordings. i'm listening to one now...

Re: the orb - live recordings
Ooh thanks for the link! The only Orb I had for the longest time was Orbus Terrarum & Cydonia but I recently got a ton of the old stuff and have been seriously hooked in. The Pomme Fritz 2CD re-release is especially keen.
Copping the Leads 92 gig as you suggested.

yeah, i'm not a fan of their most recent stuff, live or album. i last saw them in 2004 and they were epic. finished with a monster version of assassin...
