Re: Diamond Jigsaw
The song certainly sounds like a pre-Dubno release in some ways (certainly lyrically). But it's so much better than anything they were even capable of making then, which isn't all that surprising. It's so uplifting and the lyrics are still the cut-and-paste masterpieces we all love.
Speaking of which, here's my best stab at the lyrics: Does it hurt That you finally found yourself And does it hurt That you crawled out of your shell Black carpet from my mood Come let me shine Lonely sweet love come on you Give me your time Don't look at me like a tourist The dark sky (?) Outside alone and all the signs Alone and all the signs Alone and Does it help That you finally found yourself And does it help That you crawled out of your shelf I wanna wake up in a better place Take me in your care Lonely and *cough* horny in the dark There's someone there And there's a white stretch limo parked out A single line Premium tequila Diamond jigsaw makes me feel fine Does it help That you finally found yourself And does it help That you crawled out of your shell Can you hear me can you hear me calling When the moon is on I wanna feel I wanna feel surrounded Lying in the dark And there's a white stretch limo parked out A single line Premium tequila Diamond jigsaw makes me feel fine Does it help And does it help And does it help And does it help
